Jean Pierre #72 of 100 Strangers
Im met Jean Pierre as I was buying a cup of coffee at the Marriot Hotel in Wilmington,DE.He was in town doing business with some banks and I was doing my tv thing. I overheard his French accent and proceeded to tell him of my future trip to Paris. He was quite an engaging fellow listening & answering all my questions, including the one, "would you like to participate in my 100 strangers project?"
Jean Pierre,43, is a man of the world. He was educated in Paris took his first job in Argentina then moved on to Mexico City.He loved the people & culture of Mexico so much he stayed there for five years and met his wife. it is now one of if not his most favorite country in the world. After 9/11 he moved to Texas for four years then back to Mexico City for another five years!!!
Finally he went back to Paris for work for three years. He enjoys traveling and seeing the world and acknowledges the French can be not very welcoming ,but people in the U.S. and Mexico are very candid, lovely and nice in a naive way when it comes to meeting people which he finds very refreshing.
I decided on a color portrait this time because my last several submissions had been B&Ws.
This bg was a 45degree right turn from bg of the previous photo and while i like the bokeh in this photo i prefer the simplicity of the other. Flickr members&followers please chime in with your thoughts.
