The 2013 Young Actor Series production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"
(November 11, 2013. Akron, Ohio) -- Back by popular demand, 19 performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" are scheduled at Weathervane Playhouse for its 14th consecutive annual holiday run.

This season's production is beautifully directed by Sarah Bailey (M.M.) with Guest Choreographer Marissa Montigney (AEA). Dozens of new costumes, new set pieces, beautifully executed choreography, and a huge and talented youth cast from Akron, Clinton, Copley, Cuyahoga Falls, Doylestown, Fairlawn, Hudson, Kent, Medina, Munroe Falls, Stow and Tallmadge make for another fantastic season of "Joseph!"

"Joseph" is a rainbow ride through ancient Egypt on the wings of Andrew Lloyd Webber's uplifting music and the humor of lyricist Tim Rice. The musical tells the story of Joseph, a young man with a knack for having prophetic dreams, who incurs the jealousy of his brothers when his father gives him a magnificent colorful coat. The adventure that ensues tells an epic tale of biblical proportion! "Joseph has instant appeal for every audience, shimmering with elaborately staged production numbers and a score full of hits."

"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will be on stage at the playhouse from Tuesday, Nov. 26 to Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013.

The "Joseph" cast will be joined by choirs from the Falcon Academy of Creative Arts, two choirs from Miller South School for the Visual and Performing Arts and The National Inventor's Hall of Fame -- Science Technonology Emgineering Math School.
