      I hope you did not get sick from this. It's not recommendable to eat some seafood items in May/June/July/August (months without R).

      you know i've heard about this 'rule' but never followed it. in my neck of the woods (the northeastern part of the US), we almost only eat seafood during the summer months down at 'the shore' where we spend most of our summers. steamers, mussels, lobster, crabs (softshell and blueclaw), shrimp are all very popular items to eat all summer long. so, out with the rules I say! And, no, i didn't get sick from this meal... I would never have posted it if I did!! but thanks for the head's up!

      I'm from the East Coast of Canada and I agree, we always eat seafood over the summer and I'm still alive :)
