Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society Field Trip to Lake Isaac Waterfowl Sanctuary, Sunday, April 30, 2017 Leaders: Nancy Howell, Rich Kassouf 15 Birders, 60 Species WCAS birders joined the Audubon Spring Bird Walk at Lake Isaac for this month's field trip. Across the lake were four Spotted Sandpipers. A Northern Waterthrush was a highlight among several warbler species. The woods by Baldwin Creek yielded a Blue-headed Vireo. House Wrens and Eastern Towhees sang at several locations. Last species seen: Baltimore Oriole. The woods were full of wildflowers, dogwood and apple blossoms.
