My 1/24 Tamiya 1993 Mustang DSC_0543_2
Acceptable, I thought. The interior is a mix of beige leather seats added to the black interior, something which could be made but only by swapping parts or buying 2nd hand seats. I've done seat swaps myself, and I wanted that look. Monochromatic interiors don't do much for me. I don't have to get the plastic, metal, leather, etc. all the same color.
I had the most fun with the chassis of this one - we had a kid-oriented video that showed the Mustang production line of this era, and they dipped the whole unibody in primer, then spray painted the top side, but only overspray went on the bottom. (thinks: "water-proof primer...") so I did that, then added rust on the nose of the differential (cast iron, not painted, see it in any junkyard...) and just generally applied all my "realistic finish" mojo to the black and bare metal bits and bobs.
