"The Pennybacker Bridge in Austin, Texas bridges Lake Austin to connect north and south Loop 360 highway, also known as the "Capital of Texas Highway." The road is widely considered one of the most scenic urban drives in central Texas, in large part due to this arched weathering steel bridge and the rolling hills that flank the road. In 2001, 48,000 vehicles crossed the bridge daily. Ten years prior, 22,000 vehicles crossed the bridge daily." -Wiki
This is the image I've been waiting to capture for a while, inspired by Trey Ratcliff's image I had to go out there and try it myself. Overall, I'm very pleased with the way that this image came out. I think it was well worth the trouble I had earlier on in the day and I think this will be my personal favorite for quite sometime...
I think I might retire myself from shooting this location again. Sometimes I feel that once you shoot something enough it gets old and it's time to move on to something else. I know this isn't true for most but I'm not one for over shooting a location. If the conditions are perfect I might go back up but I don't that will be for a very long time.
