The beautiful Dragoon Creek Campground was reopened to the public in June 2012. Visitors will enjoy camping and picnics in this charmingly wooded recreation site. Play games in the open grassy meadows, take a stroll down by the lazy Dragoon Creek, and set your tent in the shade of old evergreens. This quiet recreation site, at 1,971-feet in elevation, has much to offer any camper. It's perfect for a day-trip outside of Spokane or a peaceful weekend getaway.

Dragoon Creek has 22 developed campsites, RV access, drinking water, and restrooms available. Fires are allowed in designated fire pits only- please be sure to fully extinguish your fire so that it is cool to the touch before leaving it unattended.

The campground was closed in 2009 due to lack of funding. The Discover Pass has made it possible for DNR to reopen this much-loved campground after 4 years of closure. Discover Pass funds help keep over 130 DNR recreation sites open to the public. Your $30 Discover Pass not only gives you access to DNR-managed state land, but also to State Park and Washington Fish and Wildlife managed sites.

Directions: 14 miles north of Spokane. Just west of Highway 395.
