• Susan B. Anthony dollars. My bank has plenty of these, though some are from friends and family.
  • Sacajawea dollars. Quite a bit tarnished as you can see. I have already spent most of what I had. Some are from the bank and a couple are left over (well, maybe one) from when my school used to give them away for being on the honor roll and such.
  • J.F.K. halves. Mostly from 1994 and 1997. Nothing special... the bank has plenty. Some people mistake these as dollar coins, but I'm always honest about it.
  • 2 Dollar bills (Toms) from the bank. All are 2003 series except for the bottom one, which is a 1976.

My Spending Money

Newer Older

Here is my spending money for now. I'm planning on getting some presidential dollars from the bank (I've already spent and saved some) and I have halves saved up.

I'm trying to think of fun places to spend the Susan B. Anthony dollar coins. Any ideas?

I didn't realize that they minted half dollars that recently.

@Brian Kuhl: I believe up until 2001 (which I just recently found they had stopped) Kennedy half dollars were made for regular circulation. Right now they are only being made for mint and proof sets, but maybe demand can bring them back into production.
