Eskom Generation's pilot wind-farm facility at Klipheuwel in the Western Cape, South Africa.
"The company’s pilot study was undertaken in 2002/3, when it erected three wind turbines at an experimental wind energy farm at Klipheuwel on the West Coast.
To date, more than 15 GWh of electricity has been generated, contributing to an avoidance of more than 14 000 t of carbon dioxide."
Update: Since I posted this photo a few weeks ago, Eskom's made public some of its future renewable energy plans. Here's are a few of the links to the stories currently making headlines.
