There may not be an NBA season this year but heck seascape season is back! From Nov. to May, storms and clouds rolling in from the pacific coast really create dramatic scene along the northern California coastline. We had our first storm rolling in last week/weekend and the G.I. Jane of photography Yan and I went to this place, unofficially named the Cripps beach (Joshua Cripps and Jim Patterson are definitely the top dogs of Santa Cruz coastal landscape photography) We got there a bit early to scout and the condition looked mediocre initially but as the light falls, it got juicier and juicer and all the clouds somehow listened to us and lined up quite nicely in front of our eyes. I picked this comp since I really like these cool alien looking fingers and cracks on the right side, I have another one that I will post that was shot closer up. The sunset was beautiful to enjoy too. It was definitely a great trip and I hope to meet some of you out there this winter. Hope you like it and have a great week ahead!
