More slides from my Father in Law's collection.
Andy graduated from Birmingham University in the Sixties with a degree in Geology.
Originally from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, his first job was working for the National Coal Board in South Wales after the Aberfan disaster in 1966.
After divorcing Cath's Mum, he moved to Sunderland in the North east to take up a lecturing position at the city's University where he still lives with his wife Sandra to this day.
This will explain our annual trip to the North east that we undertake each Summer.
He lent me his box of old slides at the end of 2011 and I am slowly scanning them.
All titled from what I can make out from the hand writing on the slide mount, corrections to places and locations are more than welcome. Where no title exists, it was either impossible to read or the mount had nothing written on it.
