South Of Pigeon Point Lighthouse

Yesterday was our first real warm day in the SF Bay Area. I was visiting w/family on the peninsula, in San Mateo - for my Grandmother's birthday. As evening approached, I saw that there wasn't a cloud in the sky, but i didn't care. Since I was around 30minutes from the coast, a short drive over the coastal mountains, I decided to take advantage and head over to shoot a few cloudless shots :) Soon after getting there, I saw that there was a fog line approaching, so I drove S a bit, trying to buy a little bit of time... I decided to stop here and take some shots before the fog caught up to me; as I took this shot, the fog was still a ways offshore behind me.

Taken off of Pacific Coast Hwy 1, just S of Pigeon Point. I didn't get any real exciting shots, but it was great to see the ocean and feel the fresh cool breeze! Apparently many others had the same idea, as told by the headlights coming North on the PCH.
