Buenos Aires - La Boca: Garibaldi Pum - Nerf

Nerf, a Korean native who grew up in Argentina, has been painting graffiti since the 1990's and is best known for his distinctive style of three-dimensional isometric forms.

Garibaldi Pum was an urban regeneration project run by Fundacion X La Boca in 2011 that aimed to re-beautify Paseo Garibaldi, a neglected passageway between Olavarría y Suárez, connecting El Caminito and La Bombonera. With support from stadium workers, the space was cleared of rubbish and rusted abandoned cars so that a diverse group of urban artists including rundontwalk, Stencil Land, Mart, Nerf, Pastel, Malatesta, Pum Pum, Triangulo Dorado and Maria Bedoian, could decorate the walls in a variety of vibrant styles.
