Un porción de Fugazzeta. Fugazzeta pizza, or fugazza con queso, a classic Porteño style pizza which the government lists as a food of 'patrimonial value', is made with double cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, onion and olive oil.


El Cuartito, located at Talcahuano 937, has been an icon of Porteño pizza since opening in 1934. Its waiters are white-jacketed and its walls are covered with yellowing posters and photos of sports legends, musicians, tango dancers and actors. Lunchtime crowds attract everyone from taxi drivers to lawyers for the delicious fugazetta and napolitana pizza, often paired with a glass of Moscato wine.
