Fort Lauderdale: New River

Fort Lauderdale is known as the "Venice of America" due to its 300-plus miles of inland canals, which as part of the Intracoastal Waterway stretch from the Atlantic Ocean through New River and onto the Everglades. The waterways are home to "Millionaire's row", the opulent multi-million dollar mansions that line the waterfront, and a multi-billion-dollar marine industry with more than 42,000 registered yachts.
