Denver - Five Points: Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs

Rattle Snake & Pheasant Hot Dog with the Desert topping--Harissa Roasted Cactus, Malaysian Jam, Scallions, Cilantro & Onions 2 ways.

Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs opened in March, 2011 at 2148 Larimer Street, after earning widespread acclaim for its stainless steel cart on the 16th Street Mall. Jim Pittenger, aka Biker Jim, was a car repo man before he fired up his gas grill in 1996 and started serving hot dogs made with reindeer, elk, wild boar, buffalo, pheasant, rattlesnake, and veal--all topped with Coca-Cola soaked grilled onions and cream cheese from a caulking gun.

Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs was featured on the Travel Channel's television series, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
