After an early morning breakfast at Shari's in Laramie, my wife and I parted ways; I to the Dirty Devil River in Utah, and she to visit family in Spokane.

After buying a soda and some water, I loaded his gear into my car and we headed for Burr Point, about 15 miles south of town and another 11 miles of graded dirt road.
