    Eric, awesome maps!! Any chance on seeing some on mekkah and medina? I have been to both cities which seem to have an incredible number of visitors with some interesting mapping parameters. Congratulations again!!

    Thanks! But unfortunately there are have not been enough geotagged pictures posted in either of those cities to be able to make good maps of them.

    I lived in NYC for five years. That about covers it. I always said that NYC has "people plumbing", and here it is, evidence, right here.

    Love the difference between the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge. The locals love the MB, and unless you're trying to leave Manhattan, they hate the BB.

    This is phenomenal - and a potential "where to go guide" for cities one hasn't yet been to!

    Excellent idea and execution, but I'm intrigued by the red dots on Rikers Island.

    Love the little clusters of red on the various parks running down Broadway: Times Square, Herald Square (subsumed by the Empire State building, naturally), Madison Square, Union Square...

    Interesting how many shots are taken by tourists in Central Park. Incredible image, overall!

    @Mista J

    Queens and Brooklyn at least made it to the map. Staten Island doesn't exist to anyone.

    I get the dots, but what are the lines coming from the dots? The direction the person was looking??

  13. Eric Fischer 32 months ago | reply

    No, the lines are connections between where the same person took different photos.

    Thanks a lot for this map, it helps me organize my trip to NYC by providing "interesting spots" that are not so well known by tourists.

    The image is a work of art itself.
