Association of Bay Area Governments Regional Plan 1970-1990 (1970)

BART around the bay, including Sunset, Richmond, and Golden Gate Bridge routes in San Francisco, and a MacArthur-98th Avenue route in Oakland.

Freeways under study include a loop from Interstate 980 to Interstate 238, connecting to the Southern Crossing, Alameda, and Oakland Airport in between. On the other side of the bay, the Bayfront Freeway runs south from the Southern Crossing and Hunters Point Freeway to Interstate 380. The Golden Gate Freeway is not dead yet.
