Planning map for BART lines and stations.

In this version, the Marin line is postponed and replaced with a Geary line to the Richmond.

I'm as fascinated by this map as I am furious that BART never expanded in SF, only further and further into the suburbs. There is no excuse for the lack of rapid transit in The City.

At least we got Glen Park and went from one Mission station to two, compared to what was planned in this version! But yeah, it is ridiculous how much of SF has no access to rapid transit.

Taking the N-Judah out west and the 38-Geary are so slow. Do you know if there is desire in the city to get BART built under Geary?

The current SFMTA plans are to pursue bus rapid transit on Geary. As far as I know BART's only active expansion plan within San Francisco is the possible 30th Street infill station.
