Koogle Lids - 1970s

    Newer Older

Here are four plastic lids from Koogle jars in the 1970s. Vanilla, Cinnamon, Chocolate and Banana were the four flavors of peanut spread that they made. The eyes of the Koogle mascot are the "OO" in the logo.

Were these good (anybody)? I suppose the fact that they're not on the market MIGHT answer my question, but I'm pretty curious about some of the funky flavors like the cinnamon or banana flavors.

Thank you for posting this. I haven't seen some of these since the mid 1970s. The banana flavored Koogle was always my favorite.

Wasn't there an animated Koogle commercial sometime around '75 or '76? Anyone know anything about that?

From what I remember, they were really good. It was the one thing we couldn't leave the grocery store without. Never could understand why they took this product off the market. Jif made a cinnamon flavored peanut butter(discontinued in 2003) that tasted almost identical to Koogle.
