Check out the spooky good graphics on this one! Apparently it meant enough to somebody to save this after eating it.
This wrapper is from a Blue Ghost ice cream bar, or "water ice confection" as it is called here. It was made by Merritt Foods of Kansas City, Missouri and is dated 1981.
Merritt had a whole line of frozen treats that included a piece of bubble gum to enjoy after the ice cream. The Blue Ghost's red nose was bubble gum.
This is part of last year's interesting find of candy and ice cream items that I've been documenting. Actually this piece arrived just recently, as some more items are being uncovered this year from the same source.
