Great Debates Technology Conference - February 3, 2015

Technology seems to be expanding at an exponential rate, with each passing year, month, and even day bringing about the latest and greatest technological innovations of the time. But is it all good, is it all bad, or is it something in between?
From the connectedness of the internet and social media, which some say brings us closer together while others argue that its creating rifts in how people relate to one another, to biotechnology and genetic engineering, which some claim will help us to cure what were thought to be incurable diseases and mend physical or mental handicaps while others believe it’s not right to “play God”and manipulate the human genome--these are the technological debates in the world today.
