2010 Model Senate Foreign relations Committee Simulation
More than 160 students from schools across the greater Philadelphia region gathered together at Temple University’s Fox School of Business to participate in the Council’s 37th annual Model Senate Foreign Relations Committee simulation. Assuming a wide range of roles – from senators to policy experts, scholars and journalists – students worked together in subcommittees to craft resolutions shaping U.S. foreign policy towards China, Russia and the global economy. This semester-long program is designed by the Council to develop critical thinking, advocacy, problem-solving and leadership skills necessary for our emerging 21st century citizens.
