The World Affairs Council presents Mitt Romney, April 6, 2010
Mitt Romney — the former Governor of Massachusetts, successful business leader and a once and likely future GOP presidential candidate — visited the Council to discuss his own stimulus strategy to strengthen the economy, improve education, create jobs, reform health care and conserve energy.
In a discussion focused on the future of America’s global standing, Mitt Romney will both identify recent policies and events that have contributed to the nation’s diminished standing in the global community as well as detail his plan for restoring our sole superpower status, the essential components of which are a strong economy, strong military and strong values.
