Ambassador John Bruton at the World Affairs Council - April 16, 2009

H.E. John Bruton, EU ambassador to the United States, stopped by Philadelphia to talk to the World Affairs Council on Thursday, April 16th.

The former prime minister of Ireland, who presided over the country's explosive economic growth, joined the Council to discuss EU-U.S. relations in the current economic climate.

The Council partnered with the Irish-American Business Chamber and Network, German-American Chamber of Commerce, French-American Chamber of Commerce, British-American Business Council, Italy-America Chamber of Commerce and Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce for this event.
