Bodine High School and Philly Portal

On the morning of Friday, Nov 1 at 9 am, 20 students from William W. Bodine High School for International Affairs visited the Portal in LOVE Park in Philadelphia. Two of their teachers joined them, Michael Schieber, Athletic Director, and Marty Moyers, Math Teacher and Athletic Coach. Three news stations were there with cameras, 6 ABC, Fox 29, and PHL17. Twenty students were in attendance, freshmen, sophomores, seniors, plus their globe mascot, Amby. Senior, Afnan Ahmad, was interviewed by 6 ABC and Fox 29. The portal linked to 3 countries around the world, including Dublin, Ireland; Vilnius, Lithuania; and Lublin, Poland. Students held country flags, plus World Affairs and Bodine banners.
