Too often, in the world of political punditry, we encounter a barrage of talking heads yelling over one another, flinging accusations and allegations against one politician or the other, and aiding in the continued division and extreme partisanship we find in politics today.
The World Affairs Council returned to Philadelphia’s historic Congress Hall, where the first peaceful transition of power from Washington to Adams occurred, to discuss the modern day’s Presidential election.
We took an in depth look at “What Just Happened” during the 2016 Presidential campaign and election, in an attempt to find some common ground and to rise above the extreme partisanship, featuring Chris Mottola and Andi Johnson, political consultants from two ends of the spectrum, and David Eisenhower, a presidential historian and host of the Council's public television series, The Whole Truth.
