From 12th Jan 1944 Punch Magazine ~ British propaganda. "Nemesis" by Bernard Partridge.

 

By now the RAF and USAF was indeed Germany's Nemesis.

 

# Artist Bernard Partridge was born in London on 11th Oct 1861 and died there on 9th Aug 1945. He was first invited to contribute to Punch in 1891 where, in 1901 he replaced John Tenniel as the chief cartoonist. He also drew advertisements for Lever Brothers, Selfridges etc. He was knighted in 1925.
