Omni Parker House Hotel (Boston, MA)
The lobby of the famous Parker House is an amazing place to visit. One of the first hotels in America, this hotel is full of American History. The site of the famous "Saturday Club" (Dickens, Longfellow, Emerson, etc); John F Kennedy's marriage proposal to Jackie; hundreds of famous speeches; as well as things like the first Parker House Rolls, Boston Creme Pies, and more.
Ho Chi Minh was a baker at this hotel, and Malcolm X was a bus boy. Did I mention that it is (supposedly) haunted?
There are many great photo opportunities in the hotel, the lobby is just one of them. I strongly recommend a quick detour off of the "Freedom Trail" in Boston to check this place out. The staff is very nice, especially the main bellman / hotel historian - Sheamus Murphy (you can't make these things up).
