OK, totally jumped the gun last week, so had to try something else. Rex says in his defence, he *is* a border collie, and thus should be interested in wool.

Sometimes, the yarn gets really taut when I'm knitting, because someone is trying to sneak it out of the room! Both of my boy dogs like to mouth the yarn, but only if it's wool. Alpaca, cotton, synthetics - no interest.

      Herd that wool, Rex!

I know this one well...I have a picture of her when she decided to go to town on a skein I had on the couch...She ended up a tangled mess. I paid her back by knitting her a dog sweater and making her wear it.

LOL! Well, that'll learn her! I've only knit one sweater for my dog - and she didn't seem appreciative of how much effort went into it.

I have to keep my lower shelves yarn-free because the dog will always play with them. :-)

    16. voteforbear 18 months ago | reply

Mine only play with wool - they leave the synthetics alone! The more rustic the wool (i.e. more lanolin), the more interesting it is to them. Dogs are funny. :-)

Aww poor baby dog. You can play with my yarn if your mum don't want :D
