Saint Sophia Cathedral (Sofievskiy Sobor) in Kiev, Ukraine.

It was built in 11th century by Yaroslav I the Wise, Grand Prince of Novgorod and Kiev.

Originally the cathedral was a burial place of the Kievan rulers including Vladimir Monomakh, Vsevolod Yaroslavich and of course the cathedral's founder Yaroslav I the Wise.

In 2007, the Cathedral was named one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine.
