Day 2: "I know every book of mine by its smell, and I have but to put my nose between the pages to be reminded of all sorts of things."

Oh and as far as books I would never touch again and you probably shouldn’t either?: Walden II, Among Other Things I’ve Taken Up Smoking, and Turn Me On. One was read for a Sociology class and the other two were all I had on me during a plane ride to California. Otherwise, they would have been chucked after the first few pages & sent to the library donation box.

And as far as this year’s reading? Well, I’m not sure. I’m going to try for 50+ but am not going to stress over it if I realize I don’t have time. We’ll see.

Audry Niffeneger's latest book is hauntingly good. You might add that one to your list for this year. It's nice to see other's book lists. Some times I get in book ruts and it helps to shake things up and read something I don't think I'd normally read.

I was so excited when I saw this picture I did a back flip. However, I was in a sleeping it got really weird. My cat looked at me as though he no longer accepted me as his owner. Then I realized I had no cat, and wondered why this creature was in my home!

See, your photo has set off a chain of events that not even Ashton Kutcher could fix!

Cool shot and sounds like a neat project. Saw somebody reading The Art of Racing in the Rain on the airplane today, and now see your recommendation - I will have to check this one out.
