MS Victoria I
I recently went on a cruise from Sweden to Estonia with this ship. The photo was shot in Tallinn, on my way back after having spent the day on land. That blue sign saying "Stockholm" is hard to miss, I guess. I know there are some reflections here, but if I can deal with them, hopefully so can you.
I have visited Tallinn maybe five or six times before, as well as travelled with this ship two or three times. Still some new things. Last time I was here, in September 2007, I hadn't developed my interest in photography. The town has changed a bit in those three years; they really do work around the clock to improve their standard of living. Having been occupied by the Soviet Union until 1991, they still have a lot to improve. But I'm sure they will be able to catch up within a generation or two.
Another new thing was that I went alone this time. I had never been on a cruise – let alone abroad – just by myself. It turned out to work really well!
If you're curious, the ship to the left is MS Superstar. It's on the Tallinn–Helsinki route.
