Pik Nik Drive In - Saginaw, Michigan

Nice real photo postcard showing a couple views of the Pik Nik Drive In located along US 10 in Saginaw, Michigan.

The building was fairly simple but what a sign!

Great card. Did you find it at an estate sale, or on the internet?

illtakeyourphoto! - Thanks! I actually found this one at an antique show at a "paper" booth. They only had one small pile of postcards (mostly 70s cards) so not sure how this one made it in there but I was happy to find it.

Thanks Toby. The name reminds me of the old Tik Tok that was here in Portland.

Finding something at an antique show is still "finding" it. You did good.

This was my parent's restaurant and that's our Oldsmobile in the photo. Unfortunately the City of Saginaw made US 10 a one way street, which killed the business. My parents sold it and it became a bar/lounge. Great memories!

donnab50 - I'm so sorry I missed your comment! How wonderful you found our postcard here. Do you know more of the history of the place? We'd love to know more about it!
