Stranger #7 - [ The Chief ]
When I first saw "The Chief", I instantly knew I wanted to photograph him. To me, he was one of the most noticeable and unique characters there, regardless of his size.
I walked right in front of him, and tried to take a picture, but he would constantly move behind his fellow "Batman" friend(Managed to get a decent shot of that too xD). "Batman," then approached me and said, "If you want a picture with the Chief, you need to tip'em." I got out a dollar and dropped it in the money hat in front of him.
The Batman character then asked for my camera... I told him that I wouldn't hand it over to him then said, "Then why you tippin' the man for?"
I told him I was a photo student and wanted to photograph people I meet for a project.
I could just imagine chasing after BATMAN, of all people, down Hollywood Blvd for my camera xD !
"The Chief" and Mr. Skinny Batman guy then posed for me, although I didn't want Batman so I cropped him out(in camera) as much as I could XD
I would have asked him to step out of the frame, but me being my usual nice self, just let him be and took my photo.
Both these guys deemed pretty shady characters... something new I learned about the photo world and strangers project, but im glad I got a shot I liked out of it! Sometimes you just gotta risk it! =)
