Walking alongside the Yarra River - on the Alexandra Park side - you can see part of the magnificent skyline of Melbourne and its reflection in the flowing water.

On this night panorama you can see the Princess Bridge on the Left, which connects Southbank and the Melbourne's Central Business District. Right at the entrance to the city you'll find the funky looking Federation Square followed by a partial skyline of Melbourne and the very photogenic ferris wheel on the right. If you'd follow down the walking path you would end up in the Melbourne Park/ Olympic Park which is probably most famous for the annual Australian Open.
