Pentacon Six TL w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 80mm f/2.8 and Fujifilm Neopan Acros (Kodak Xtol 1:0, Ilford rapid fixer). f/5.6, 1/60s. Epson V600 and EpsonScan @ 4800 dpi, downsized to 2400 dpi. Retouched and cropped.
The P6 that I bought from Switzerland about a month ago has been mildly CLA'd and seems to work alright, although I'm not too comfortable using 1/125s. Before the shutter dial was wouldn't move above 1/500s or below 1/60s. The camera has been in a basement for 27 years (since 1990), and the lubricants need to be conditioned. The mechanics of this camera body (early 80's) sound much more confident than my old body (c. 1970).
The frame spacing mechanism also needs conditioning. The first test roll gave a frame spacing of ½-3 mm, after a few rolls it's now 3-6 mm. My old body has a frame spacing of 5-6 mm.
Regarding my old body, the frame counter is working again. But since the faster shutter mechanism is about 1/2 stop faster than what it says on the shutter dial, I prefer to use this newer body for the moment being.
