A Hover Fly licks the last of the pollen in late September.
The translucent wing really caught my attention right away.
Most of my macro shots are very heavy on the Aperture, around f/22+. This provides great depth and focus when you're close.
Lighting is always an issue when shooting with f/22+, but can be overcome with a simple flash extension like a small box (Kraft diner box) using foil to reflect light down on subject.
Hope somebody gives it a try if they've faced this problem before.
