SARGASSUM

Each June the Sargassum or June grass as the locals call it, finds its way onto the sugar white beaches of the Emerald Coast in Florida. Most of the time we deal with patches of the algae that are more of a menace than anything. This year though, the June grass piled up into a beautiful ribbon of texture and color along the beach. For the first time, I realized June grass is truly beautiful.
