W. E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts, 922 Park Ave., 1982.

The W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts houses the administrative offices of the music and theater departments. It features a concert hall and modern theater, rehearsal rooms, seminar room, dance and movement studios and a large theater workshop. The building is name for W.E. Singleton, a Richmond real estate investor, philanthropist and jazz enthusiast. Singleton has been a supporter of VCU’s jazz program for more than 30 years.
