Cabin Socks: anklet slippers
Son said today, “I am loving these socks. When I come home from school, the first thing I do after I set down my backpack and lanyard is put them on. I don’t have to put them on in the mornings when I get out of bed because I sleep in them.” This is from a Florida kid who grew up hating socks. His friend saw them and said, “Dude! Those are way cool!”
I used 1 skein for the anklet-length women’s size, and 1.75 skeins for the wider and longer teen boy’s/men’s pair. The original goal was to see how fast and easy I could create stretchy and usable socks/slippers with slip stitches in big yarns.
