Impression of the Surcouf built dirigible 'Ville de Paris' above Montmartre [France, 1906-1908]

A colour impression of the Surcouf built dirigible 'Ville de Paris' which was owned by the wealthy aviation enthusiast Henry Deutsch de la Meurthe. He was actually so weathy that he bought an extra part to his name (Deutsch) to extend it somewhat.

The dirigible hovers in the air above Montmartre. In the background is the all white Sacré Cœur.

The card was an advertising item for the Magasin Anglais.
