....as in Quiet Riot. Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band founded by Randy Rhoads and Kelly Garni in the ‘70’s, Kevin DuBrow and Drew Forsyth joined afterwards to make the band complete in 1975. They recorded 2 albums in the late 70’s that were only released in Japan. Garni left the band after the release of the second album, around a year later Rhoads left the band and became Ozzy Osbourne’s lead guitarist, he passed away after a plane crash in 1982. The band regrouped with 3 new members and started work on their next album. The album in this foto is Metal Health, on compact cassette, which is their third album, released in 1983 this is their biggest release reaching #1 on the US charts and going 6x platinum. Their fourth album, Condition Critical, was not as popular but it did go platinum. 7 albums have been released after Condition Critical with only 2 hitting the US charts. DuBrow left the band in 1987 but returned in 1991 and remained with the band until his death in 2007. The band’s line-up today does not include any of the original members.
