2013 48th Annual State Crime Clinic Training Seminar
Community Protection Was the Focus of the Virginia State Crime Clinic’s Annual Conference

The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services teamed with the Virginia State Crime Clinic to co-sponsor the Clinic’s 48th annual training conference, “Partnering to Protect: Law Enforcement and Security Services Protecting our Communities.”

The conference drew law enforcement officers and private security professionals from throughout Virginia to foster collaboration and information exchange between the law enforcement community and private security services. Community protection is a top priority for all. With overlapping responsibilities for law enforcement and private security, this partnership between the two professions can strengthen the effectiveness of each.
