Meet Beanie. She came from a Georgia animal shelter, and was brought to Seattle by a rescue group. Beannie going to be put to sleep, but they saved her! Once they bring the puppies to Seattle, they find foster families to take them in. My friend was fostering her, and decided to adopt! She's so cute, and it's great to know that she was able to find a forever home.

This shelter in Georgia euthanizes about 6,000 dogs a year (mostly puppies). Georgia peaches rescue saves these dogs before that happens. They currently have a network in Vancouver, Seattle and Portland. They are hoping to get networks in other areas of the country soon too. Please like them on Facebook to help raise awareness. Maybe there's a puppy that you want to foster or adopt too!
