Loch Tarff

    Newer Older

Another archive shot from a weekend trip to Scotland back in 2010. A shot that almost left our group locked out of the guest house :)
After spending the warm and sunny day around Loch Ness we had a sunset barbecue on the southern shore of the lake. It being the middle of the summer, the sunset occurred well after 10 pm. On the way back to the hostel I saw the amazing reflection of the sky in the water of Loch Tarff and decided to stop and do a couple of shots. What I didn't realise was that it was 11.15 pm, awfully close to the 11.30 curfew of our hostel. Even worse, the surrounding mountains left us with no mobile signal to call them. Luckily, after an unnerving drive down the tiny and twisty roads we managed to arrive at the guest house not long after the curfew and still found the doors open :)
