Underneath the Bridge
Underside of the Humber Bridge near Kingston upon Hull, UK. Taken from the North bank of the Humber estuary.
The bridge was built in 1981 and until 1997 was the longest single-span suspension bridge in the world (longest span: 1410 m, total length: 2220 m).
I got there with a plan to do some wide-angle long exposures of the Humber estuary with my B+W 10 stop filter, but the low December afternoon sun was peeking through the clouds and making light conditions very difficult, therefore I decided to go for my telephoto lens and try to avoid any Sun rays.
