USNS Mercy makes a Pacific Partnership 2012 visit to Vietnam.

VINH, VIETNAM (July 13, 2012) U.S. and Vietnamese flags fly in unison as the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) sits on station in the Gulf of Tonkin. Mercy is the mission ship for Pacific Partnership 2012, the largest annual humanitarian and civic action mission in the Asian-Pacific region. Military and civilian professionals from 10 other nations and 14 international and local non-government organizations have partnered to execute tailored humanitarian assistance projects and subject matter expert exchanges.
