Firefighters put out fire aboard Naval Station Norfolk.

NORFOLK (Jan. 27, 2011) Firefighters work to put out a warehouse fire at Naval Station Norfolk. The unoccupied building, on Aircraft Tow Way near the base airport and Gate 3A, contained empty boxes and pallets. White smoke was seen rising from the building as firefighters from the naval base and city of Norfolk worked to contain the fire, which started around 10:20 a.m. The Norfolk Fire Department sent a battalion chief and aide, a 3- man aerial ladder and a 4-man engine company to the scene. No one has been hurt. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Brien Aho/Released)
